5 Things To See & Do At Sentosa’s Imbiah Trail

The Imbiah Lookout at Sentosa is the arrival point for those who reach the island via cable car. While many head to attractions such as the Skyline Luge or Madame Tussauds, it is also a good start point for those who wish to visit the Sentosa Imbiah Trail.

The Sentosa Nature Discovery is a gallery at Imbiah Lookout. After looking through the exhibits found at the converted former monorail station, take a walk into nature and hit the Sentosa Imbiah Trail.

Sentosa’s Imbiah Trail

Here are some sights and things to see along the Imbiah Trail.

Waterfalls

What to See & Do at the Sentosa Imbiah Trail

Imbiah Trail is home to 3 waterfalls. The Imbiah Falls runs through the jungle and welcomes visitors with its rushing sound. The Tempinis Falls is larger and there is a small pathway which you can use to reach the top. Stop by to take a picture. The most impressive, in our opinion, is the Dragon Falls. Shaped like a sleeping dragon, rushing water flows out of its mouth.

Look for all three of these waterfalls along the Imbiah Trail.

Ruins of a Military Battery

Ruins of a Military Battery

Imbiah Hill was once the site of an artillery battery, one of several sited on Sentosa to defend the southern coast of Singapore. Climb towards the top of Mount Imbiah and you will come across its remnants.

You can explore the massive concrete emplacements, or even pay a visit to the various support buildings located to the rear.

Birdwatching Tower

Birdwatching Tower

Ascend a two-storey birdwatching tower and try to catch a view of the various bird species that inhabit the forest at Imbiah Hill. The top of the tower is also a good spot to enjoy the view of even watch the intra-island cable cars of the Sentosa Line pass by.

Moss Corner

Moss Corner

Go off the main path at the Moss Corner and gain an appreciation for the smaller things in life such as the Angiopteris evecta and Asplenium nidus, different species of moss.

Adventure Course

Imbiah Hill is home to Mega Adventure. Those who are seeking an adrenalin rush can try out the various high obstacles at the Mega Adventure Park. Or for a bird’s eye view of the Imbiah forest, above the Imbiah trail, take the MegaZip, a 450 metre long zip line.
